Thanks Kim for your hard work and leadership to protect the 70million ++ freelancers and independent contractors.
Congress must recognize the evolving nature of compensation and benefits since medical benefits were introduced to employees during WWII to evade wage price controls. We hope Congress can ensure the portability of benefits and the ability of freelancers to purchase what are mistakenly referred to as w2 benefits (disability, unemployment insurance, etc.) as they deem necessary.
Thanks also to Rep Kevin Kiley for working to protect freelancers as well as the American economy which depends on us.
